| Abstract: | Professional English for Future Mining Engineers is an edition recommended for the fifth year students of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management, majoring in Mining. It consists of five sections that cover general mining engineering topics: “Mining Engineer”, “Automation Technologies in Mining”, “Mining: Safety and Hazards, “Underground Construction” and “Sustainable Urban Construction”. The main goal of the publication is to develop English communicative skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, as well as developing and improving translation skills. The book comprises supplementary texts that help develop sociocultural competence. It serves to enrich professional vocabulary and increase the interest in the English language and culture. |
