This study aims to describe the key features of Russia’s wartime strategic communication. Harold Lasswell’s (1971) classical model of communication for the analysis (deductive approach) of five elements in Russia’s communication: the communicator, the content, the receiver, the channel, and the effect. The analysis highlights the multi-faceted structure of Russia’s strategic communication as well as its major inconsistencies and flaws.
