Despite the fact that Ukraine is one of the energydeficient countries the possibility of import or transit of energy from the Gulf state are quite limited , the priorities of ukraine policy in the region are the development of balanced equal and mutually beneficial relation strengthening ukraine economic position in the region markert maintaining security at the southern borders of our state strengthening regional security and stability. Ukraine in turn has competitive advantages and favourable opportunities for export their goods to Gulf state. In particular ours the counties can offer cheaper but also a quality alternative to western goods and services. This is especially true of the products of the domestic agricultural sector and the aircraft industry in general there are significant reserves for the future intensification of trade and economic cooperation between two countries. The purpose of the master's thesis is to determine the foreign economic relations between Ukraine and the Gulf states and to demonstrate ways to improve them. Achieving this goal involves the consistent solution of the following tasks: to consider the theoretical aspects of development international trade and investment; to study the history of Ukraine’s foreign trade relations with the Gulf countries; to analyze integration processes in the Persian Gulf region; to analyze Ukraine's economic cooperation with the Gulf countries; to study the factors that determine the foreign economic relations between Ukraine and the Gulf states; to make a comparative description of the geographical and commodity structure of exports and imports of Ukraine and the Gulf countries; to іdentify segments of national markets of the Gulf countries, promising for foreign economic relations with Ukraine; to forecast foreign economic relations between Ukraine and the Persian Gulf states. The object of the research of the master’s thesis is improving cooperation between Ukraine and the Persian Gulf countries.
