The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of proper technology resources for teaching and learning. Digital technologies can improve educational equity and inclusion, can enhance learning by providing flexibility in terms of location, timing, and method. According to Directorate for Education and Skills by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development digital equity and inclusion matters at every level of education, from early childhood, primary, and secondary to higher education. It is also vital for adult education and lifelong learning as society becomes more digitalized (OECD, 2023, p. 7).
