This article examines advances in electromechanical equipment and automated sorting systems that use sensors, machine vision, and artificial intelligence to accurately identify and classify tires by material properties and dimensions. Particular attention is given to pyrolysis as a sustainable recycling method, which converts tires into reusable byproducts such as pyrolytic oil, carbon black, and scrap steel, along with the role of electromechanical systems in optimizing feedstock preparation, energy efficiency, and emissions control. Drawing on case studies of existing installations and pilot projects, the review assesses real-world performance, challenges, and opportunities, while considering scalability and economic feasibility. The conclusions identify gaps in current technologies and outline directions for future research aimed at improving system integration and advancing a circular economy in the tire recycling industryё95 p.enUsed tire disposalPyrolysisElectromechanical systemsAutomated sortingSustainable recyclingелектрогенератордіагностикакомп'ютерне моделюваннястартеренергоефективністьElectromechanical equipment and an automated system for sorting used tires and their pyrolytic disposalMaster Thesis656:681.518.5
