The study examines how decarbonization trends reshape investment patterns and proposes strategies to enhance FDI while supporting low-carbon development. It employs econometric modeling, statistical analysis, and qualitative evaluation to explore relationships between carbon emissions, economic factors, and FDI inflows. The research contributes novel insights by identifying the significant influence of decarbonization policies, exchange rate stability, and labor quality on FDI. It proposes innovative solutions, including Green Special Economic Zones and regional carbon market alignment, to attract sustainable investments. The findings offer practical recommendations for policymakers and businesses in Southeast Asia and beyond, aligning economic growth with sustainability.
