    This practicum introduces students to the fundamental principles, methods, and technologies of modern web design and front-end development. The textbook provides a structured overview of the evolution of markup languages, the principles of semantic document structuring, responsive and accessible interface design, and the visual foundations of composition in web environments. Special emphasis is placed on practical skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and form interaction, as well as on the use of modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including jQuery, Vue.js, and Node.js with Express. The material includes practical examples, laboratory guidelines, explanations of layout techniques, client–server interaction, asynchronous communication, testing methods, and the basics of building progressive web applications. The practicum serves as supplementary educational material for laboratory work in the course “Web Design” and helps students develop a systematic understanding of contemporary web interface development practices.
