Документ Відкритий доступ DC and AC power grids with alternative energy sources - 1. Lecture notes(Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, 2021-06) Verbytskyi, Ievgen Volodymyrovych; Batrak, Larysa MykolayivnaThe course of lectures contains theoretical information, basic concepts and definitions, drawings and diagrams of renewable energy sources and the basic principles of their use, acquaints with the basic designs and modes of operation of relevant power plants, world and domestic experience of their operation, prospects for energy development on alternative energy sources. unconventional energy resources. The material is needed by students to ensure understanding and mastering the basic principles of using non-traditional energy resources. The publication was prepared at the Department of Electronic Devices and Systems and is intended for students majoring in 171 "Electronics", educational program "Electronic Components and Systems".Документ Відкритий доступ DC and AC power grids with alternative energy sources - 2. Lecture notes(Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, 2021-06) Verbytskyi, Ievgen VolodymyrovychThe lecture notes of the dicipline "DC and AC power grids with alternative energy sources - 2" contain the main technical requirements and measures to coordinate the operation of power grids, reactive power compensation and elimination of power power distortion, describes the possibility of using power electronics to increase energy efficiency. The possibility of using DC power grids to reduce losses during electricity transportation is considered. The advantages and disadvantages after the transition from centralized to distributed power supply systems with intelligent control are analyzed. Also, in the lecture notes the methods of calculation of the devices of power electronics intended for increase of energy efficiency of electric networks are analyzed.
