The article is an attempt to probe more deeply into the area of impact-forming devices by examining the prosodic component of communication. The samples for the analysis have been taken from the oral advertisement discourse. The results bring the author near the position that Golden Middle is the universal rule of prosodic impact-forming devices. Prosodic peculiarities of loudness, pitch level and formants structure of Golden Middle have been determined in the oral ad discourse.
