Comparison of planar and pyramidal textured silicon solar cell

If morphology of the surface of the solar cell changes, depending on its photoelectric properties with angle of incident light will change. So, in this paper, photoelectric properties of silicon based solar cells which were covered with upright pyramids which angle of base was various, dependence on angle of incident light, was researched. From obtained results, it was found that when the angle of incident light is varied from 00 to 800, the short circuit current densities of planar, pyramidal textured silicon solar cell with 50.40 and 70.40 of angle of base of pyramids have been decreased to 82.6%, 88.8%, 89.8%, their open circuit voltages have been decreased to 10.5%, 12.8%, 14.1% as well as their fill factors have been decreased to 1.9%, 2.2%, 3.2%.
