Документ Відкритий доступ Functional condition of young swimmers. Psychophysical indikators(Вид-во УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2023) Khimich, Igor; Parakhonko, Vadym; Kachalov, OleksandrIn the problem of studying the implementation of complex motor reactions in conditions of sports activity and their tolerance, along with generally accepted psychological and pedagogical measures, the study of psychophysiological functions is used. The physiological mechanism for the implementation of complex motor functions in health and in pathology has been studied by many authors [1,2,3etc.], mainly in a state of rest. However, there are many controversial issues related to the influenceof complex coordination loads, such as swimming, on the mechanisms of implementation of the contractile function in young athletes, even at the initial stages of training. Quantitative assessment of the state of the somatosensory system, which ensures the performance of aspecial motor function of young athletes, characteristic of a specific type of motor activity, consists in the insufficiency of methodological criteria.Документ Відкритий доступ Physical activity as a way of influencing cognitive functions and brain activity of students during their studies at the university(УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2025) Zubko, Valentyna; Kachalov, OleksandrThe relationship between physical activity and academic performance has been studied extensively, and research supports the idea that regular physical activity can have a positive impact on academic life. This can include improving students’ cognitive function, attention, memory, and academic performance. Physically active students perform better on cognitive tests and have higher academic achievement scores compared to their sedentary peers. Additionally, physical activity has been shown to reduce stress and improve mood, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression in adolescents, which can also have a positive impact on academic performance. Sports and physical activity have a significant impact on students’ academic life. Research has shown that students who regularly engage in physical activity tend to perform better academically and have higher grades than those who do not. This is because exercise helps improve memory, concentration, and attention, as well as reduce stress and anxiety levels. Physical activity also helps improve sleep, which is essential for overall health and academic success. When students get enough sleep, they are more alert, energetic, and able to focus on their studies. Additionally, physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, which in turn increases oxygen and nutrients, leading to improved cognitive function. In addition to the cognitive benefits, playing sports also helps students develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication. These skills are essential for success not only in the academic field, but also in their future careers and personal lives. In addition, playing sports can also help build self-esteem, confidence, and resilience. When students achieve their goals through sports, they learn to believe in themselves and their abilities. This self-confidence will help students cope with the challenges of academic life, leading to increased academic performance and success. The benefits of playing sports are numerous, from improving memory and concentration to developing self-esteem and life skills. Therefore, it is important for students to make time for physical activity and choose the right sports that suit their interests and abilities.Документ Відкритий доступ Positive effect of swimming on the musculocal system. Health and Therapeutic swimming as a method of prevention for postural disorders and scoliosis(УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2024-09-24) Dakal, Nataliia; Kachalov, OleksandrOver the last decades of the twentieth century, during the period of the scientific and technological revolution, the conditions and the labor process itself have changed dramatically. Automation of production, development of transport, improvement of living conditions have led to a decrease in physical activity of most people. In the human body, the neuro-reflex connections established by nature and strengthened in the process of hard work began to be disrupted. An urgent problem is the fight against physical inactivity, which arises due to limited mobility in many activities.Detraining of the motor system and functional systems of the human body, which provide muscular work with energy and plastic resources, creates the preconditions under which unexpected psycho-emotional effects on a person and even not very heavy physical activity cause a strong stress reaction.Social and medical measures do not give the expected effect in preserving people's health. Therefore, in modern society there is a need to develop one’s physical abilities through physical exercise. Physical training increases physical activity, stimulates intellectual processes, promotes health and longevity and is an integral part of a harmonious and fulfilling life.Swimming is a unique type of physical exercise and is one of the most popular sports, both in our country and abroad. It is one of the most effective means of strengthening human health and physical development, from the first months of life to old age.Документ Відкритий доступ Providing first psychological aid to students who are in a state of acute stress due to militaryactions in Ukraine(Вид-во УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2025) Dakal, Nataliia; Kachalov, OleksandrAny crisis phenomena -natural disasters, accidents, catastrophes, armed conflicts - lead to social and psychological consequences that disrupt the normal course of students' lives. When a student is threatened, the natural reaction to such a change in the usual environment is stress -a state of physical and/or psychological arousal. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of psychological first aid in emergency situations. The tasks of psychological first aid: to ensure safety, basic needs, information and communication, to provide an opportunity to express oneself and calm down, to show techniques for overcoming stress. The sympathy and support that a student who has fallen into terrible trouble may feel largely depend on how hard and long he will experience this trauma in the future. Psychological First Aid is designed for students who are in a state of stress as a result of a recent or current crisis. However, not everyone who has experienced a crisis needs or wants psychological first aid. There is no need to provide help to those who do not want it, but it is always necessary to be close to those who may need support. There are situations where students need much more serious assistance than psychological first aid, including: students with serious, life-threatening injuries who require emergency medical care; students with a psychological disorder that prevents them from taking care of themselves. They may harm themselves or others; students with mental health problems; students with disabilities may need special assistance to get to a safe place and medical care.Psychological first aid should be provided upon first contact with students who are in a state of stress. This usually occurs during or immediately after the event, but sometimes several days or weeks later, depending on how long the event lasted and how traumatic it was for the students
