    Analysis of assessment methods of the process of management of the enterprise’s external economic activity in the context of increase in its competitiveness

    The article is devoted to the analysis and systematization of methods for assessing the process of managing the foreign economic activity of an enterprise in order to increase its competitiveness. It is substantiated that strategic management of foreign economic activity is an important tool for achieving economic success in international markets, as it allows enterprises to adapt their strategies to the constantly changing external environment, as well as effectively use available resources to expand market positions. Approaches to defining the category of “enterprise competitiveness” are systematized. It is determined that strategic management of foreign economic activity of an enterprise in a competitive environment is a multifaceted and complex process. Its main goal is to develop, implement and effectively implement strategies that contribute to the adaptation of the enterprise to changes in the international business environment and ensure its competitiveness. The authors prove that studying the concept of enterprise competitiveness requires a comprehensive approach that takes into account the dynamic nature of market conditions and the ability of the enterprise to quickly adapt to changes in the external environment. Special methods used only in strategic analysis are systematized, their main content, advantages and disadvantages are determined. Among them are the SPACE method, the LOTS method, PEST analysis (STEP analysis), SWOT analysis, RIMS analysis, and the study of the object profile. The author analyzed examples of successful cases of implementation of modern approaches to foreign economic activity management and innovative solutions. The study confirmed that the competitiveness of an enterprise is a multidimensional category that includes the ability to adapt to dynamic changes in the external environment, introduce innovations, reduce costs, effectively manage resources, and ensure high-quality implementation of marketing and production strategies.

    Analysis of the financial crisis in Ukraine

    У статті розглядаються основні аспекти впливу фінансової кризи на національну економіку. Досліджено причини фінансової кризи, до яких варто віднесені: політичну нестабільність та військову агресію з боку росії, знецінення гривні та інфляція, зменшення інвестицій та відтік капіталу,падіння ВВП та зростання безробіття, зовнішній борг та дефіцит бюджету. Авторами ґрунтовно проаналізовані наслідки фінансової кризи в Україні, наведені статистичні дані основних макроекономічних показників, а саме: інфляція, номінальний ВВП України, державний борг, обсяг міжнародних резервів, заробітна плата, пенсії, бюджетний дефіцит, безробіття. Визначено, що нестабільна економічна ситуація та військові дії на території країни негативно впливають на бізнес-клімат, спостерігається деградація інфраструктури. Запропоновано напрямки щодо ліквідації наслідків кризових явищ. Доведено, що найважливішим та найголовнішим кроком до стабілізації політичної та економічної ситуації в Україні є припинення військових дій на не території нашої країни. Це допоможе відновити мирне життя, розпочати відбудову зруйнованих територій та стимулювати економічне зростання. Боротьба з корупцією, захист прав власності та забезпечення неупередженої судової системи можуть підвищити довіру до уряду та сприяти залученню інвестицій. Відновлення економічного зростання шляхом стимулювання інвестицій, підтримки малих і середніх підприємств та розвитку експорту; надання податкових пільг інвесторам, малому та середньому бізнесу, а також експорто-орієнтованим підприємствам; посилення контролю за дотриманням податкового законодавства та впровадження жорсткіших санкцій за ухилення від сплати податків може збільшити надходження до бюджету. Соціальна підтримка населення через збільшення соціальних виплат, створення робочих місць і поліпшення доступу до освіти та охорони здоров'я. Залучення підтримки з боку міжнародної спільноти у формі фінансової допомоги, інвестицій, технічної допомоги та експертних консультацій. Україна має потенціал для подолання кризи та побудови процвітаючої економіки.

    Analysis of the security development of business entities in the conditions of artificial intellectualization of the global space

    Evaluating the security development of business entities requires compliance with the criteria of complexity and systematicity in terms of taking into account the multi-faceted spectrum of internal functional and process relationships of the security configuration of the enterprise management, which requires the selection of a wide range of the indicators of parametric evaluation. The aim of this article is to justify a methodical approach to assessing the level of economic security of business structures in the conditions of artificial intellectualization of the global space using the method of taxonomic analysis as a tool for assessing the level of economic security. To use the method of taxonomic analysis in the framework of assessing the level of economic security of economic entities in the conditions of artificial intellectualization of the global space, in the article, the authors substantiated a system of analytical parameters describing the key components of ensuring economic security of economic entities in the context of artificial intellectualization processes of economic development. Differentiation of analytical parameters by functional characteristics of influence on the level of economic security, formation of the corresponding intellectual evaluation component was carried out. The proposed methodical approach was tested on the example of PJSC "Southern Mining and Processing Plant". The applied value of the proposed methodical approach lies in the possibility of substantiating the tools of strategic planning of the company's activities in the conditions of intensification of crisis phenomena and the availability of opportunities to overcome them by means of the intellectualized development.

    Circular Economy as a Determinant of Strategic Management

    The article is devoted to the problem of the circular economy, which as a result of strategic management ensures social sustainable development due to the observance of the principles of the circular economy. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the principles of the circular economy as determinants of strategic management to ensure social development. The relevance of the application of determinism, as one of the main explanatory principles of scientific knowledge of the complex process represented by the circular economy, has been proven as a methodological basis of the research. Highlighting the principles of the circular economy made it possible to propose directions for the direction of strategic management efforts in accordance with the determinism of the circular economy. The outlined directions of strategic management are of practical importance, as proven by the experience of various countries of the world that are developing in the direction of observing the principles of the circular economy.

    Implementation of ESG principles as an opportunity to increase the investment attractiveness of the company

    The need to introduce ecological, social and managerial aspects into the corporate and social culture of the enter-prise is argued. New regulatory requirements, investors’ rethinking of new criteria for choosing potential sources of financing, push managers to implement ESG principles in business strategy and all business processes. During the analysis of a potential project for investment, attention is paid not only to the possible amount of profit, but also the social component of the business is carefully studied. The views of investors on the issues of sustainable development and the need to disclose information in non-financial reporting are considered. Currently, in Ukraine, in the context of the implementation of the EU Directive on Corporate Reporting on Sustainable Development (CSRD), primarily banking institutions, insurance companies, as well as enterprises of public interest with more than 500 employees, and others are required to publish a non-financial report enterprises subject to the established criteria. The main obstacles and problematic aspects of ESG implementation are identified. It has been proven that an important part of the research is the comparative analysis of ESG and CSR. The article analyzes the differences between ESG risks and Business risks. The article also pays attention to strategic problems depending on industry specifics. Depending on the type of activity, significant attention is paid to certain topics that have the greatest impact on the company or potentially constitute an ESG risk. The authors emphasize that for the social aspect of financial institutions, attention should be paid to data security, because leaks of customer data can harm a significant part of society. In the context of management, an example of a strategic priority is corporate ethics to prevent conflicts of interest, corruption and other forms of misconduct. Considering ESG in the context of global economic trends allows us to conclude that the implementation of such approaches not only increases the reputation of companies, but also becomes a necessity for maintaining their competitiveness on the international market.

    The article deals with the problem of building an effective system of management of production potential of enterprises. It studies the role and importance of production potential in ensuring efficiency of production and development of enterprises. The study uses an analysis of the latest research and publications in the field of production potential management. The works of scientists who have made a significant contribution to understanding the formation and development of production potential are highlighted. Gaps in research related to the construction of a production potential management system and the role of the information component are identified. The essence of management of production potential as an active influence on the object of management in order to increase its efficiency and provide conditions for development is disclosed.

    The impact of higher education on implementation of the sustainable development concept

    Modern global challenges include growth of environmental tension, irrational use of finite resources, which is due to constantly growing needs of society and the need to use resources to meet them. The sustainable development concept is global strategy for overcoming many problems of humanity and the direction for achieving social, economic and ecological balance. Higher education plays an important role in shaping consciousness of humanity about relevence of effective and conscious use of resources and ecological culture of the population. It is possible to strengthen the impact of higher education by implementing the sustainable development concept by introducing socially and environmentally oriented competencies of students, which will contribute to implementation of sustainable development principles in their future professional activities and everyday life. The purpose of the study is to identify the impact of higher education on implementation of the sustainable development concept through formation of socially and environmentally oriented competencies of students of higher education institutions. In the article, the methodology of the system-process approach is used, which makes it possible to consider specific features of higher education and sustainable development as processes of different nature using various methods of scientific knowledge and to determine their systematicity and mutual influence. Shortcomings inherent in the content, composition and implemention of educational programs at the level of higher education institutions are identified, regarding intensification of formation of professional socioecologically oriented competencies in students of higher educational institutions to ensure implementation of the sustainable development concept. Using the integrated approach in higher education institutions is justified, which covers theoretical and practical training of students in acquiring socio-ecologically oriented competencies , which includes development and implementation of educational programs that contribute to formation of necessary technical skills for specific professions, interdisciplinary knowledge that supports broader understanding of environmental processes, and normative competencies related to environmental awareness and values of sustainable development. Stages of organizational support for professional development of young specialists to implement the sustainable development concept and stages of formation of students' socio-ecological competencies are identified.
