Документ Відкритий доступ Creation of sealed strong structures of rocket and space equipment FDM printing methods by ULTEM ™ 9085 PEI plastic(Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, 2021) Salenko, A.F.; Derevianko, I.I.; Samusenko, A.A.; Avramov, K.V.; Lithot, A.V.; Rogulin, V.V.The work shows the possibility of manufacturing products for rocket and space technology using the additive FDM-printing technology. The object of research is the nozzle plugs of the “membrane” type. Considering the specific-strength properties of the product during its operation during operation, as well as the features of the FDM-process, the design was optimized, the regularities of the formation of its properties were established. An impregnation technology has been developed to seal the product. The equipment was designed, and pneumatic tests were carried out. The properties of materials were investigated considering their guaranteed shelf life for 12 years of operation under accelerated climatic tests. It is shown that the production of products by FDM-printing methods is promising and expedient, since the properties being formed are predictable, achievable, and stable.Документ Відкритий доступ Using the functional approach in the development of hybrid processes in engineering: practical aspects(Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, 2022) Salenko, A.F.; Klimenko, S.A.; Orel, V.N.; Kholodny, V.Yu.; Gavrushkevich, N.V.The principles of creating hybrid processing processes based on the functional approach are given. The base of this approach, its theoretical aspects are given in the first part of the article. The practical application of the approaches is reflected in specific scientific and technical problems in the problem of high-quality cleaning of the surface from various adhesive coatings, the use of methods for obtaining holes and perforations in workpieces from metals and composite materials, as well as in the problem of contour cutting of plates from super hard sintered materials. It is shown that the use of a functionally oriented approach makes it possible to identify such combinations of force and energy effects that make it possible to process even those materials that are considered difficult to process or not machinable. The combination of actions that are heterogeneous in nature into one instrumental effect also allows for a new way of shaping the performed holes. At the same time, the properties of the workpiece have a much smaller effect on the parameters of the obtained surfaces than with traditional processing Samples of cleaned surfaces, cuts of super hard materials, holes in honeycomb systems of aerospace engineering are presented.Документ Відкритий доступ Using the functional approach in the development of hybrid processes in engineering: theoretical base(Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, 2022) Salenko, A.F.; Klimenko, S.A.; Orel, V.M.; Kholodny, V.Yu.; Gavrushkevich, N.V.The principles of creating hybrid processing processes based on the functional approach are given. It is proposed to consider the formation of individual elements of the product (planes, holes, fillets, ledges) through functions that are provided by a combination of such elements. At the same time, the required depth of technological influences is analyzed, based on which a set of influences that are different in nature, but compatible, on some basic carrier, is selected. It is proposed to use a high-speed liquid flow as such a carrier. Hybridization of a tool based on a water jet of small diameter can be achieved by combining with laser heating, cryogenic cooling, and the formation of a flow of ice particles, mechanical initiation of surface damage with further development of surface defects. The high efficiency of hybrid processes for processing composite materials is shown.
