    Modeling of complex emission detectors using CFD systems

    This study explores the use of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to model the operation of cyclone separators. Particular attention is given to the comparison of different turbulence models (RSTM, LES) for predicting particle separation efficiency. Key parameters influencing the outcomes of numerical simulations are identified, and promising strategies for optimizing cyclone designs are outlined. Tasks for further research are formulated.
