    On the analytical method for calculation a beam resting on inhomogeneous elastic foundation

    An exact solution of the differential oscillation equation of an Euler–Bernoulli beam resting on an inhomogeneous continuous elastic Winkler foundation is given. Based on the exact solution, an analytical method for the calculation of free oscillations of a beam is developed.
