This contributes to the development of a culture of communication, tolerance to the opinions of others, and expands students' educational autonomy, in particular through the use of online blogs. Blogs allow students to develop language competences, engage in intercultural communication and improve their writing and rhetoric skills. The virtual environment of the Internet provides ample opportunities for autonomous learning, providing free access to up-to-date materials. Blogs, although not directly intended for educational purposes, can become an important part of both classroom and self-study foreign language learning, as well as the development of understanding of oneself and the culture of others.
