Computer modeling of a technical diagnosis system of generator based on a spark ignition engine

This thesis is devoted to the development of a technical diagnostics system for autonomous electric generators based on spark-ignition engines. The study analyzes existing diagnostic methods and identifies the compression method as the most informative approach for assessing the technical condition of an electric generator. A modernized compression method is proposed to simplify the diagnostic process and reduce operator requirements. A technical diagnostics system capable of determining the actual compression ratio of the engine was designed and investigated. The proposed system was modeled and verified using MATLAB simulations and laboratory experiments on a physical model. In addition, recommendations for the implementation and scaling of the diagnostics and control system are provided.
