The paper is focused on phonostylistic organization of poetic language as presented in the works by Provence poets of the XII century, which are traditionally viewed as a cultural phenomenon in European literature. As a result of the study, the author shows that specific musicality of the analyzed poetry contributes to the emergence of rhyme, poetic symmetry and unique poetic patterns that not only convey the ideas, but also affect the emotions of the listener as well as reveal the individual creative potential of poets, praising love, or troubadours.
