dc.description.abstractenThesis of dissertation for obtain the Candidate’s degree in the Technics, specialty 05.15.03 –open cut mining of mineral deposits. – National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute», Kyiv, 2015. This dissertation covers the researching of the hard rocks facing stone cutting with the diamond wire machine. Gabbroid rocks are the most extended rocks of the facing stone in Zhitomir region. These rocks are characterized by the lesser rate of the hardness and the bigger rate of the viscosity in comparison with granites. The small rate of the cracking is typical for the gabbroid rocks. This is the one of reasons for the widespread of the blocks mining with the diamond wire saw. The theoretical researching is started with the investigating of the stone cutting with the single diamond grain. After that, the single diamond bead working is investigated. The theory of the natural stone cutting with the diamond saw blade is underlain in the theoretical researching. This theory is adapted for the diamond wire cutting with taking into account the feature of the flexible tool. The diamond wire is considered as the diamond beads system in the last part of the theoretical researching. The conic wearing effect of the diamond beads is considered as the intermediate stage of researching and the value of the diamond cutting coefficient is found too. The result of the theoretical researching is the system of equations for the working forces on the nth diamond bead. These equations are the base of the algorithm and the computer software which models the process of the diamond wire cutting. The discreet element method uses in the algorithm because the cutting surface of the wire is discreet. This software shows the values of the energy and the forces parameters of the cutting process in the real-time mode. The graph with the wire outline location in the saw cut is drawing too. The color of each point of the outline depends of the wire curvature radius. The model adequacy is confirmed by the comparison of the modeling results with the in-situ measurements with the same input parameters of cutting process. The modeling results accuracy is 88%. The analysis of technological parameters is done for the next planning of the experiment part of the work. The parameters which applied for the diamond wire cutting are chosen. There is classification of it with the variability analyzing. The two widespread schemes of the diamond wire reeve are considered in the experimental part. There are the common scheme and the scheme with the additional pulley – when the diamond wire is reeved through the boreholes system and the upper branch of the wire is reeved through the pulley. The pulley is mounted on the upper edge of bench. The wire is stretched by the moving of the saw machine. The edges of cutting stages are determined with the graphs analyzing of the electricity consumption by wire saw machine during it works. The value of the efficient notching stage is in line with cutting of 5-6% general square cut in common scheme. The value of the finish cutting stage is in line with 10-13% general square. The advantage of the scheme with additional pulley is the absence of the notching stage. This scheme ensures the more favorable conditions of diamond beads working. It is showed with decreasing of the diamond beads wearing on 5-15% with the constant productivity. The conception of the form coefficient decreases the number of researching parameters. This is the ratio of the height and the length of the cut. The analysis of the power intensity shows unsuitability of the diamond wire cutting with the form coefficient value about 1,0. The productivity is proportional depend on the pressing force and cutting velocity. The scheme of the reeve with the additional pulley intends the pulley exclusion from the reeve scheme on the final cutting stage. The incline angle of the upper wire branch about 52° is the external indication of the optimal exclusion moment of additional pulley.uk
