Анотація
This paper highlights the specificity of the time dynamics within the English business discourse. The experimental phonetic analysis shows the peculiarities of pausation. The data obtained point out the tendency of the organisational role of pause which integrates the time schemes of conflict fragments. The delimitation of the English business continuum is characterized by regulation and reflects the pragma-communicative value of the conflict interaction constituents.
