Анотація
The paper is focused on the study of phonostylistic organization of the Latin poetic language. As a result of the analysis of Catullus’ poetry – the Roman poet of the 1st century BC – the author comes to the conclusion that phonostylistic means being the means of poetic artistic expression serve to form the background knowledge common for both addresser and addressee as well as can trigger in the addressee’s mind associative images of the events and characters depicted in Catullus’ poetry.
