dc.description.abstractenThis article reflects the activity of the prominent philologist and Slavic scientist, the academician of All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and the USSR Academy of Sciences V. M. Peretts’s at the head Commission of ancient Ukrainian literature of All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. The article is based on the analysis of archival documents and bibliographic sources. The source of the study was the documents Commission of ancient Ukrainian literature of The All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and the epistolary heritage of V. M. Peretts’s, deposited in the holdings of the Institute of Manuscript and the Institute of Archival Studies of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. The article investigates the letters of the scientist to the prominent Ukrainian philologists S. O. Efremov, S. I. Maslov and the epistolary legacy of such Ukrainian scholars as D. I. Abramovich, S. Yu. Gaevsky and O. A. Nazarevsky. The leading role of V. M. Peretts’s in the creation and organization of the activities of the Commission of ancient Ukrainian literature of The All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences is highlighted. The authors conclude that under the leadership of V. M. Peretts’s in The All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences the efforts of this institution were made to identify, describe and study the monuments of ancient Ukrainian literature. Academician V. M. Peretts managed to organize the publication of outstanding works of ancient Ukrainian literature. Under the coordination and participation of V. M. Peretts, the institution aimed at popularizing the research on the history of ancient Ukrainian literature. During the totalitarian system, V. M. Peretts advocated further research on the history of ancient Ukrainian literature. Further study of the epistolary heritage of the academician V. M. Peretts and other Ukrainian philologists will significantly contribute to the research on the functioning of The All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.uk
dc.description.abstractukУ статті на основі аналізу архівних документів і бібліографічних джерел висвітлено діяльність видатного філолога-славіста В. М. Перетца як голови Комісії давнього українського письменства Всеукраїнської академії наук. Джерелом дослідження стала епістолярна спадщина В. М. Перетца, що відклалась у фондах Інституту рукопису та Інституту архівознавства Національної бібліотеки України імені В. І. Вернадського. У статті зроблено висновок про значний внесок В. М. Перетца в організацію та розвиток досліджень з історії української літератури в рамках діяльності Комісії давнього українського письменства Всеукраїнської академії наук.uk
