dc.description.abstractenBased on the previously underresearched documents the article highlights the principles and organizational mechanisms for ensuring of service secrecy among the partisan network of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) in the frame of the armed conflict with Soviets in Western Ukraine during 1945 — mid1950s. It is important to analyze a variety of the operative and organizational-technical experience for providing secrecy in specific conditions of the asymmetric conflict (between the irregular insurgent formations and the state forces). The scientific novelty of the research lies in the authors generalization and systematization of the forms and methods of ensuring informational protection of confidentiality. The secrecy of negotiations between the key figures of the OUN and the UPA must have been ensured in the situation of restructuring of the strategy, the tactics, and the organizational model of activities of the national-independent movement in the post-war period. The purpose of the article is to describe the system of secrecy protection and the internal security of underground OUN units as a decisive factor in ensuring the survival and development of the underground organizations based on the documents of the nationalist underground and the Soviet special services. The use of structural-logical and system-functional methods of research allowed to reconstruct the system of units and measures, which provided ensuring of secrecy for the survival of the underground organizations. The historical-comparative method helped us to analyze the evolution of the organizational-tactical schemes of the partisan activities, which supported the secrecy of the national independent movement under the conditions of the intense hostile activities of the Soviet special services. The authors proved that a number of forms of secrecy and confidentiality in the OUN underground became widespread, such as the adoption of the opponents’ methods of spying, the education of the ordinary members of the organization, and cultivating the importance of self-discipline, patience, and being consistent with the directions of the commanding officers.uk
dc.description.abstractukВ статті висвітлюються засади та організаційний механізм забезпечення конспіративності та захисту службової таємниці в мережі підпілля Організації Українських Націоналістів (ОУН) у ході збройного конфлікту між ним та радянською владою у Західній Україні в 1945 — середині 1950-х рр. Автори довели, що набули поширення такі основні форми забезпечення секретності й конспіративності в підпіллі ОУН як контррозвідувальні заходи з захисту лав підпілля від оперативних ударів спецслужб противника; вивчення професійного арсеналу спецслужб противників, передовсім — їхньої агентурно-оперативної діяльності; контроль лояльності учасників повстансько-підпільного руху, виховання в них дисциплінованості, особистої пильності, спостережливості, обережності в спілкуванні; застосування засобів таємного кур’єрського зв’язку, псевдонімів, умовностей, шифрів і тайнопису.uk
