dc.description.abstractThe article focuses on the study of the works of leading Polish ethnographers of the late 19th to early 20th centuries, including Leopold Waigel, Oskar Kolberg, Ksawery Mroczko and Józef Schnaider, who made significant contributions to the research of the traditional culture of Ukrainians in Pokuttia and their winter calendar rituals. The article highlights the unique features of the works of these scientists, the range of issues they addressed related to the winter cycle traditions and rituals, and the territorial focus of their research. The study also emphasizes the local characteristics of the traditions and rituals of different parts of Pokuttia as an ethnographical region of Ukraine.uk
dc.description.abstractotherУ статті проаналізовано праці провідних польських народознавців ос- танньої третини XIX — початку XX ст. — Леопольда Вайґеля, Оскара Кольберґа, Ксаверія Мрочка та Юзефа Шнайдера, які залишили внесок у дослідження традиційно-побутової культури українців Покуття, зокрема, їхньої зимової календарної обрядовості. Охарактеризовано особливості праць зазначених науковців, спектр питань, присвячених звичаям та об- рядам зимового циклу, які вони висвітлили. Особливий наголос звернено на територіальну прив’язку матеріалів Л. Вайґеля, О. Кольберґа, К. Мрочка та Ю. Шнайдера, а також на місцеві особливості звичаїв та обрядів на різних теренах Покуття як етнографічного району України.uk
