dc.description.abstractenThe use of resource-and energy-inefficient technologies leads to significant pollution of the hydrosphere. Heavy metals are particularly dangerous for groundwater and surface water because of the extremely toxic and non-biodegradable properties. The problem of utilization of plant wastes of the agro-industrial complex is equally important and urgent. In this regard, it is advisable to develop a complex technology of application of plant waste to solve ecological problems of environmental pollution with heavy metals. Biosorption has proven to be a promising process for the removal of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions and can be used in low-waste water demineralization systems. En effective from an economic point of view is the utilization of waste biosorbents through the use in the composition of building materials.en
