dc.description.abstractenThe purpose of this paper has been to obtain and analyze analytical expressions of the standard uncertainty of the measurement the decrement and the oscillations frequency of the eddy current transducer signal in pulse mode excitation. Analysis of obtained expressions made possible to determinate and justify the conditions for choosing a time interval for analyzing the eddy current transducer signals in order to minimize these uncertainties. The results of the conducted experiments are given. Taking into the condition of obtaining the minimum error for evaluating the trends of the signal characteristics, the accuracy of measuring the transducer signal decrement and natural oscillation frequency increases to two times.uk
