dc.description.abstractIt is shown that in magneto-optical crystals possessing simultaneously the Faraday effect and the birefringence, the normal linear polarized waves transited through the crystal become correlated. For samples with longitudinal magnetic fields, which ensure the rotation of the plane of polarization at the level of π values, changes in ellipticity are possible, up to a change in the direction of rotation of the polarization ellipse to the opposite direction.uk
