dc.description.abstractotherThis paper is a study of the phonetic aspects of speeches delivered by British monarchs. It traces their evolution through different historical epochs and sociocultural contexts, political events, and social movements. These phonetic features reflect the monarchs' regional origins, class characteristics, and emotional attitudes, playing an important role in shaping their identities and public images. Additionally, the formality and politeness inherent in royal speeches underline their role as national representatives. The study also highlights the importance of linguistic devices like metaphors and allegories in effectively conveying messages and fostering emotional connections with the audience. Overall, this analysis emphasizes the significance of phonetic characteristics in understanding the identities of British monarchs within their cultural and historical contexts amidst social and technological changes.
