dc.description.abstractotherModern information technologies are increasingly developing in the direction of creating intelligent systems capable of independently responding to changes in the environment. One of the key areas is the concept of a “smart home” based on the Internet of Things technology. Thanks to the interaction of a large number of sensors, controllers, and communication devices, such systems provide continuous monitoring of environmental parameters, increasing comfort, energy efficiency, and safety of housing. In monitoring systems, data is often transmitted at high frequency, leading to excessive use of network resources, increased delays, and higher energy consumption. This problem is particularly important for wireless IoT devices with limited power supply capabilities, where the balance between measurement accuracy and system resources is of great importance. In view of this, it is important to develop and improve methods of information transmission that allow the volume of data to be reduced without losing its content. Rational ways of organizing the communication process, including optimizing transmission frequency, pre-processing data, and using compression mechanisms, ensure stable operation of monitoring systems even in conditions of limited resources. This creates the basis for improving the efficiency of smart home management systems, which rely on accurate and timely data sent by sensors.
