Анотація
The paper is an outline of basic principles and conceptual ideas of speech energetics theory. Having analysed the results of its extensive application within the interdisciplinary research of Kyiv School of Phonetics, the paper shows that speech energetics theory can play the role of fundamental methodological tool for effective studying the individual’s cognitive processes, their speech behaviour, communicative features of their speech, interaction of lingual, paralingual and extralingual means in interpersonal communication, etc.
