Анотація
In the paper the author suggests teaching the learners of English intonation patterns in their integration with lexico-grammatical means on the basis of textual fragments. The author comes to the conclustion that the application of such an integrated approach to teaching English can hone the learners’ skills of oral actualization of the text communicative focuses.
