Анотація
The paper offers the results of the acoustic analysis as the stage of experimental phonetics research of prosodic means realizing English urban landscape descriptions. The methodology of the experiment is elaborated according to the proven techniques in contemporary phonetics, classification of English landscape descriptions and methodology developed by the author. According to the results of the acoustic analysis, the author establishes variations of maximum intensity and its localization in English urban landscape descriptions.
