Анотація
The textbook presents the general foundations of modern computer-aided shape generation, including the use of geometric models and methods for constructing various lines, surfaces, and solids. The corresponding graphical tools are illustrated using the AutoCAD system, emphasizing the possibilities for increasing the level of automation through the Visual Basic for Applications programming language. The material is linked to the training exercises provided in the appendices. Compared with other publications, the advantage of this textbook lies in the integration of the foundations of computer-aided shape modeling with practical techniques for their implementation and automated execution through user-developed programs.
