Анотація
It is shown that in magneto-optical crystals with both the Faraday effect and birefringence, it is possible to change the ellipticity of polarized radiation due to a change in the magnetization component parallel to the direction of light propagation. Changes in the ellipticity of the radiation are resonant in the region of frequencies of longitudinal magnetomechanical oscillations of the crystal.
