dc.description.abstractotherThe paper explores the role of phonetic means in translating texts across genres like poetry, prose, journalism, advertising, and children's literature. It emphasises the importance of preserving sound elements such as rhythm, rhyme, alliteration, assonance, stress, and overall intonation, being essential for maintaining the emotional tone and artistic impact of the original text. The translation of poetry and journalistic texts poses challenges in adapting these means to different phonetic systems. The paper also highlights the difficulties faced by translators in preserving the text emotional potential through creative adaptation of their sound arrangement.
