    Casting is one of the metals forming processes that involves pouring a metal or liquid alloy into a mold to reproduce, after cooling, a given piece (internal and external shape) while minimizing subsequent finishing work as much as possible. The techniques used depend on the alloy being cast, the dimensions, characteristics, and quantities of parts to be produced. It is most often a subcontracting industry heavily dependent on purchasing sectors such as automotive, steel, handling equipment, industrial equipment, electrical equipment, aerospace, armaments, etc.

To this end, their skills are essential in solving the challenges of modern manufacturing industry as precision and efficiency requirements continue to rise.

The project begins with a thorough analysis of the part's purpose and operating conditions within its assembly unit, highlighting critical design features and working conditions. Then determines the appropriate production type based on the part's weight and production volume, categorizing it under medium group production, which influences subsequent decisions on manufacturing methods. The plan outlines the selection and design of the blank, considering material properties and manufacturing tolerances, and the creation of a machining sequence for the bracket. Key manufacturing steps include rough and contour milling, drilling, and centering, ensuring the precision and quality of the final product. The project also addresses the design of locating schemes to maintain spatial positioning accuracy during processing. Critical considerations such as the choice of manufacturing equipment, cutting tools, and machining conditions are discussed to optimize the manufacturing process. Additionally, the plan includes time and cost calculations, ensuring the feasibility and efficiency of the manufacturing operations. The ultimate goal is to achieve a balance between precision, complexity, and cost-effectiveness in the manufacturing of the bracket.     Manufacturing Process Planning for the Part "Bearing Support"

    Bachelor's thesis on the topic “Manufacturing Process Planning for the Part "Bearing Support"”. It consists of 104 sheets of A4 format and contains 48 figures and 4 tables. The purpose of this work is to develop the process of manufacturing the "Bearing Support" part. The first chapter is devoted to calculation of workpiece deformations. The sequence of the production process was developed, including the selection of CNC machines, cutting tools, cutting conditions, etc. For two specific production processes, the fixture was selected and the corresponding settings were developed. Economic calculations for the first plant have been carried out. The graphic part consists of 6 sheets of Al format, as follows: 1. Calculation of workpiece deformations 2. Drawings and 3D models of the "Bearing Support" part and blank 3. Manufacturing operation presentation 4. Fixture setup for the 1st manufacturing operation 5. Fixture setup for the last manufacturing operation 6. Results of CNC code development

    Manufacturing Process Planning for the Part "Support"

    The bachelor's thesis on the topic "Process Planning for Manufacturing of the «Support» part. It consists of 61 sheets of A4 format and contains 59 illustrations, and 5 tables. The objective of this thesis is the development of the manufacturing process for the "Support" part. In the first chapter, a simulation of the casting process was performed. In the second chapter, the sequence of manufacturing operation was developed. Within this task CNC machines, cutting tools, and cutting conditions were selected. For the two specific manufacturing operations the fixtures were selected, and corresponding setups were developed. Economic calculations were performed for the first manufacturing operation.
