The textbook presents the general foundations of modern computer-aided shape generation, including the use of geometric models and methods for constructing various lines, surfaces, and solids. The corresponding graphical tools are illustrated using the AutoCAD system, emphasizing the possibilities for increasing the level of automation through the Visual Basic for Applications programming language. The material is linked to the training exercises provided in the appendices.
