It is outlined that the speaker’s emotional state is phonetically represented by the use of mixed up sounds, zero articulation of a sound, lisping, stuttering, syllable articulation, onomatopoeia, and reduplication. At the same time, basic parameters of the interfered phonetic system of Slovak bilinguals’ English speech on suprasegmental level were allocated and codified. The peculiarities of intonation in Slovak bilinguals’ English were found, namely pitch and intensity variations.
