dc.description.abstractСтаттю присвячено дослідженню періоду арешту й ув’язнення дру-жин командного складу загону отамана Якова Гольчевського (Гальчевський, «Орел»), яких було заарештовано у вересні 1922 р. Зосереджено увагу на долі Наталі Ковбасюк, Варвари Харчук, обставинах перебування Марії Гольчев-ської й Тетяни Конопенко в ув’язненні. Також зазначено про свідчення щодо М. Гольчевської сотників повстанського загону Я. Гольчевського, яких за-арештували більшовики. Підкреслено, що причетність Марії Гольчевської до антибільшовицького повстанського руху не доведено.
dc.description.abstractotherThe article is dedicated to researching the period of arrest and imprisonment of the wives of officers from the detachment of ataman Yakiv Holchevskyi (Hal-chevskyi «Eagle»), who were arrested in September 1922. The movement against Bolsheviks under the direction of this ataman actively developed from January 1921 to September 1922. The increase of Soviet troops in the Podolsk province compelled insurgents to escape to Poland. Insurgents were unable to save their wives from the red army soldiers who occupied the Letychiv district of the Podolsk province. Bolsheviks arrested the insurgents who participated in the detachment.The aim of this article is to research the period of arrest and imprisonment of the wives of officers from the insurgent detachment of Yakiv Holchevskyi. Bio-graphical and historical research methods were used to write the article. Among the wives of atamans were Varvara Harchuk, Tetyana Konopenko, Natalya Kovbasyuk, and Maria Holchevska. Attention is focused on the fate of Natalya Kovbasyuk, Varvara Harchuk, the circumstances of Maria Holchevska’s and Tet-yana Konopenko’s imprisonment. The article also mentions the testimonies of pet-ty officers from Y. Holchevskyi’s insurgent detachment (I. Kohan, F. Shmaliyi, YeDobrovolskyi), who were arrested by Bolsheviks. Information is provided about Maria’s reference and Yakiv’s attempt to free her and help her escape to Poland. It is emphasized that Maria Holchevska’s involvement in the anti-Bolshevik in-surgent movement is not well-proven.The article also discusses her testimony regarding her relationship with her husband and her love for the Motherland. Maria Holchevska consistently denied any guilt in committing crimes against the Bolshevik power. The Bolsheviks used Maria as bait to eliminate her husband, Yakiv Holchevskyi. The focus is placed on Maria Holchevska’s life period from her arrest to the pronouncement of her sentence, and the article addresses the question of her stay in reference, outside Soviet Ukraine, on the Solovki Islands, and in Uzbekistan
