dc.description.abstractМетою дослідження є комплексне обґрунтування ролі власного капіталу як ключового інструменту управління фінансовою стійкістю суб’єктів господарювання на основі вивчення теоретико-методичних аспектів проблеми, проведення аналізу й узагальнення результатів. Розглянуто підходи до визначення поняття «власний капітал», проведено аналіз його динаміки, структури, частки власних джерел у структурі капіталу суб’єктів господарювання України за 2015-2024 рр. У процесі дослідження використано системний підхід, порівняльний та коефіцієнтний аналіз. Обґрунтовано, що власний капітал є ключовим індикатором фінансової незалежності суб’єктів господарювання. Практична значущість результатів полягає у можливості їх використання з метою зміцнення фінансової стійкості суб’єктів господарювання, підвищення обґрунтованості управлінських рішень.
dc.description.abstractotherThe relevance of this study is determined by the growing influence of equity capital on the formation of sources of coverage of business entities' assets in conditions of economic instability and the increasing need to ensure an adequate level of their financial stability. In this context, equity capital is a key source of financing for business entities, so it is important to study the peculiarities of its formation, structural components, and impact on the formation of important economic indicators. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively substantiate the role of equity capital as a key instrument for managing the financial stability of economic entities based on the study of theoretical and methodological aspects of the problem, analysis, and generalization of results. The research methodology is based on the application of general scientific and special methods of cognition, a systematic approach, comparative and ratio analysis. The subject of the study is theoretical, methodological, and applied aspects of assessing the dynamics and structure of equity capital of business entities in the context of managing their financial stability. As a result of this study, existing approaches to defining the concept of “equity capital” presented in the works of Ukrainian scientists, as well as regulated by national and international legislation, have been systematized, and an analysis of the dynamics of changes, the structure of equity capital, the share of own sources in the capital structure of Ukrainian economic entities of various sizes for 2015-2024. It has been established that the share of own sources in the capital structure of business entities is low, they operate mainly at the expense of borrowed funds and use their own capital inefficiently. The expediency of analytical assessment of the dynamics, structure of equity capital, as well as the share of own sources in the capital structure as the basis for effective management of financial stability is substantiated. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their use to strengthen the financial stability of economic entities and improve the validity of management decisions.
