Анотація

The aim of the work was to study the features of the practical use of by-products of the extraction of volcanic rocks in Transcarpathia as fillers for polymer composites using aqueous dispersion of polymer varieties as a binder. The peculiarities of using zeolite as fillers when varying its concentration in the range of 65-90 wt. % for the production of polymer composite materials. As a matrix, aqueous dispersions of styrene-acrylate copolymer Latex DC640, styrene-butadiene Latex 2012 and acrylic Polycril 590 were used. The formation of the structure of composites with zeolite is related to the features of its interaction with the binder. This is manifested in the differences in the pore structure of the composites when the concentration of the filler and the type of binder change, which is confirmed by the revealed patterns of changes in the water absorption and density indicators. Conclusions have been made about the effectiveness of using zeolite as a factor for regulating the properties of the composite.
