| dc.description.abstracten | The article presents the results of theoretical research on the connection between emotional intelligence and mental health. Emotional intelligence as a subject of psychological analysis is due to considerable practical interest. Emotional intelligence is defined as the ability of an individual to control their own emotions and the emotions of other subjects during interpersonal interaction. Emotional skills such as recognizing, tracking, and realizing one's own emotions, perceiving, evaluating, and understanding the emotions of others, motivating oneself and others, and restraining impulsive actions, specify the essence of emotional intelligence. There are highlighted that it can be developed throughout life by training emotional skills. It is emphasized that the sensitive period for the formation of the basis of emotional intelligence is the stage of childhood. There are described the levels of development of emotional intelligence on which the subject's choice of emotional response strategy depends. There are highlighted that a developed emotional intelligence, which corresponds to a high level of its development, is a resource for the mental health of an individual. It is determined that the greatest influence on the mental health of the subject is exerted by the following dispositional signs of emotional intelligence: stress resistance, self-esteem, self-realization, optimism, and positive emotions. It is analyzed that the developed emotional intelligence helps to counteract the occurrence of distress, anxiety, depression, neuroticism, pessimism, emotional burnout, alexithymia, diseases and disorders, and deviant behaviors. There are highlighted that experiencing a feeling of psychological well-being is the most important indicator of the formation of emotional intelligence in a person and a sign of mental health. Emotionally healthy people are happy with their lives. There are highlighted that emotional intelligence as a resource of a person's mental health allows him to control the harmony of the inner world. The findings are valuable in terms of the psychotherapeutic practice of developing emotional intelligence as normalization of a person's mental health. | uk |
| dc.description.abstractuk | У статті представлено результати теоретичного дослідження зв’язку між емоційним інтелектом і психічним здоров’ям особистості. Емоційний інтелект як предмет психологічного аналізу обумовлений значним практичним інтересом. Визначено, що емоційний інтелект є здатністю особистості управляти власними емоціями та емоціями інших суб’єктів під час міжособистісної взаємодії. Такі емоційні навички, як: розпізнавання, відслідковування та усвідомлювання власних емоцій, сприймання, оцінювання та розуміння чужих емоції, мотивування самого себе й інших, стримування імпульсивних дій, – конкретизують сутність емоційного інтелекту. З’ясовано, що його можна розвивати впродовж усього життя шляхом тренування емоційних навичок. Підкреслено, що сензитивним періодом для формування основи емоційного інтелекту є етап дитинства. Описано рівні розвитку емоційного інтелекту, від яких залежить вибір суб’єктом стратегії емоційного реагування. Встановлено, що розвинений емоційний інтелект, що відповідає високому рівню його розвитку, є ресурсом психічного здоров’я особистості. Визначено, що найбільший вплив на психічне здоров’я суб’єкта здійснюють такі диспозиційні ознаки емоційного інтелекту: стресостійкість, самоповага, самореалізація, оптимізм, позитивні емоції. Проаналізовано, що розвинений емоційний інтелект сприяє протидії виникнення дистресу, тривоги, депресії, нейротизму, песимізму, емоційного вигорання, алекситимії, девіантних форм поведінки, захворювань і розладів. З’ясовано, що психологічне благополуччя є найважливішим показником сформованості в особистості емоційного інтелекту та ознакою психічного здоров’я особистості. Емоційно здорові люди задоволені своїм життям. Встановлено, що емоційний інтелект як ресурс психічного здоров’я особистості, надає їй змогу контролювати гармонію внутрішнього світу. Висновки є цінними з точки зору психотерапевтичної практики розвитку емоційного інтелекту як нормалізації психічного здоров’я особистості. | uk |
