dc.description.abstractІнформаційна складова сучасної війни Росії проти України переконує у важливій ролі ідеологічного впливу на формування суспільної думки. Акцентуємо на виставковій діяльності архівів, що була, є і буде одним із засобів поширення й маркером панівних у суспільстві ідейних впливів. Призмою аналізу є Запорізький історичний архів, який почав діяти в результаті реорганізації архівної системи України 1932 р. За допомогою мікроісторичного та системного підходів розкрито організацію, зміст та експонування найпершої документальної виставки архіву. Показано вплив тоталітарної державно-політичної системи на дослідницьку та інформаційну діяльність архівів України.
dc.description.abstractotherThe information component of the ongoing Russian war against Ukraine demon-strates the important role of ideological influence on forming public opinion. We focus on the exhibition activities of archives, which have always been, are, and will be one of the means of dissemination and a marker of the dominant ideolog-ical influences in society. The prism of the analysis is the Zaporizhzhia Historical Archives, which began to operate as a result of the reorganization of the archival system of Ukraine in 1932. The purpose of the publication is to show the influence of the totalitarian political system on the research and information activities of Ukrainian archives. The research methodology is based on the use of microhis-torical and systemic approaches, a complex of general scientific (analysis, syn-thesis) and special historical methods (historical-genetic, historical-comparative).The scientific novelty of the publication lies in highlighting the strict central-ization and regulation of the information activities of Ukrainian archives during Soviet totalitarianism, using the example of the organization of the first docu-mentary exhibition of the Zaporizhzhia Historical Archives. It is concluded that the themes of the exhibitions were dictated by the party leadership in order to cultivate anti-religious sentiments in society and eradicate religion from public life. The performers of the first exhibition were employees of the sector of agita-tion, propaganda, and archeography, who had a sufficient level of professional competence and a level of political loyalty satisfactory to the authorities.The exhibition showed documents from local church archives, propaganda materials about church figures, church literature, such as liturgical books, peri-odicals, and brochures containing anti-religious propaganda. The locations of the exhibition were focused on popularizing anti-religious ideas primarily among workers, youth, and students, which showed the priorities of atheistic education of communists. The main issues of the exhibition were the demonstration of the «class» and «anti-national» role of the church and its figures, and its struggle against the socialist revolution.The organizers sought to overestimate the attendance rates and exaggerate the popularity of the exhibition. During the period of Stalin’s modernization, the exhibition work of archives was directed by the authorities toward close ties be-tween archives and party institutions and organizations under their control. This movement, led by Moscow, denied the European democratic principles of infor-mation activity, deprived scientific, cultural, and educational institutions of the opportunity to make independent decisions, and put the performers of cultural and educational projects into a corner of deterministic Soviet propaganda.
