dc.description.abstractСтаття присвячена аналізу трансформації ESG-менеджменту у будівельному секторі України в умовах воєнного стану та повоєнного відновлення. Обґрунтовано, що ESG еволюціонує від інструменту репутаційного позиціонування до механізму стратегічної адаптації та виживання бізнесу в умовах подвійного структурного переходу - європейської інтеграції та воєнної економіки. На основі теорії стейкхолдерів і моделі їх саліентності проаналізовано реконфігурацію ландшафту зацікавлених сторін, зокрема посилення ролі міжнародних донорів, локальних громад і ветеранської спільноти. Узагальнено емпіричний досвід українських компаній у впровадженні ESG-практик, розкрито значення цифрових екосистем управління відновленням і визначено ключові виклики інституційної імплементації ESG у трансформаційній економіці.
dc.description.abstractotherThe relevance of this study stems from the large-scale challenges facing Ukraine's construction sector amid martial law and preparations for post-war reconstruction. Reconstruction processes are occurring simultaneously with institutional and regulatory transformations associated with European integration, a shortage of financial resources, growing social risks, and increased demands for transparency in the use of funds. Under these circumstances, ESG management is acquiring new meaning and is no longer an optional element of corporate responsibility, becoming a key mechanism for coordinating the interests of the state, business, local communities, and international donors. The aim of this article is to comprehensively analyze the transformation of ESG management in Ukraine's construction sector during the war and post-war reconstruction, as well as to determine its role as a tool for strategic adaptation and economic resilience. To achieve these goals, a combination of general scientific and specialized research methods was used, including analysis and synthesis, institutional and stakeholder approaches, comparative analysis, generalization of empirical cases, and logical modeling. The study demonstrates that, in conditions of high uncertainty, a significant reconfiguration of the construction sector's stakeholder landscape is occurring, manifested in the growing importance of international financial donors, local communities, and the veteran community. It is demonstrated that the governance component of ESG plays a system-forming role, as it ensures transparency, accountability, and trust, without which the implementation of environmental and social initiatives is impossible. It is established that the social dimension of ESG has a direct impact on overcoming labor shortages, the stability of production processes, and the development of human capital, while the environmental component acquires a clearly defined economic content through regulatory, energy, and resource constraints. The practical value of this article lies in the potential application of the findings in the development of ESG strategies for construction companies, the development of public policy in the field of restoration, and the activities of international donors and financial institutions. The results of the study can be used to improve the effectiveness of restoration project management, reduce institutional and social risks, and the long-term sustainability of the Ukrainian construction sector.
