dc.description.abstractenActuality of questions of innovative development competitiveness increase at meso level research is justified. The tendencies of innovation activity in the industrial region of Ukraine on Zaporizhia region example are analyzed. The identified problems are: lack of funding and as the result lack of personnel and logistics, imperfect interaction mechanism between customer and innovative product manufacturer, inadequate legal framework etc. The proposed solutions to the problems are: improvement of normative base, international cooperation on innovation scientific and financial support , industrial cooperation with other countries, inter-regional cooperation, particularly on the basis of cluster formations, integration of all the scientific technological components in various science sectors by developing industrial zones or areas of priority development, effective marketing management methods development and implementation etc. A conceptual model of regional innovation system is proposed. The model gives the opportunity to solve the problems and develop the prospects of the innovation potential on the basis of its components combination.uk
