dc.description.abstractenAre summarized in the article EU’ modern approaches to encourage social innovation and accelerate economic convergence of the participating countries. The social innovative funds of European Union’s countries are described, that play a very important role advancement of the social-oriented innovations at national level. It’s highlighted features of sustainable innovative policy of the EU as a new regulatory mechanism which is formed on the sustainable development principles and contributes to the positive dynamics of convergence processes in the European social and economic space. It is here explained that a requirement in passing to the latest model of innovative politics of European Union arose up in connection with that traditional policy in the field of it already is not able to settle existent contradictions, and practice shows that even the protracted increase of economy in many European countries did not result in the substantial increase of welfare of their citizens, opposite, in course of time them social problems became sharp only. And in the conditions of globalization and post-crisis development of world economy these problems need an effective settlement that is planned to provide by passing of European Union to the new model of innovative policy.uk
