Анотація
The study aid provides an accessible, well-organized overview of optoelectronic devices. The physical principles of operation and design of light emitting diodes, heterojunction lasers, PIN and avalanche photodiodes are described.
The study aid is intended for students of higher educational institutions pursuing a bachelor's degree in "Micro- and nanosystems engineering". It can also be useful for students, postgraduate students, and educators to familiarize themselves with the current stage of optoelectronics development.
