dc.description.abstractУ статті детально розглядаються характерні риси економічного зростання та економічного розвитку у Бангладеш протягом останніх десятиліть. Також проводиться аналіз подолання соціально-економічної відсталості у Бангладеш, що є актуальним питанням для багатьох країн, що розвиваються. Наводиться багато статистичних даних соціально-економічного розвитку Бангладеш протягом останніх десятиліть (наводяться дані динаміки ВВП на душу населення, тривалості життя, рівень грамотності, рівня Індексу Людського Розвитку (Human Development Index) і т.і.). Даються висновки та перспективи щодо подальшого соціально-економічного розвитку Бангладеш. Автор звертає увагу, що досвід Бангладеш може бути корисним для багатьох країн що розвиваються, а також може бути корисним для покращення соціально-економічного розвитку України.
dc.description.abstractotherThe article researches the characteristic features of economic growth and social-economic development of the Republic of Bangladesh throughout the recent decades. The ways, methods and algorithms of overcoming of socio-economic backwardness – is an important problem for many governments in underdeveloped countries. It is also a topical issue for many branches of Economics. The author considers that Bangladesh represents the example of successful economic development and overcoming of social-economic underdevelopment in the modern world, as far as the country is going to leave the list of “the least developed countries” by UNO classification in 2026. Lots of statistical data are given in the articles. Including the data on GDP growth in the country, the statistics on Human Development Index, Direct Foreign Investment, life expectancy, literacy rate, etc. In conclusions of the article, the author outlines that, despite obvious achievements in the economic development, Bangladesh still remains pretty poor, economically backward country. And the general recommendation is given that the government of Bangladesh should make the economic growth more “inclusive”, in order to overcome the widely spread poverty in the country. At the moment, Bangladesh still remains a poor, backward country, but the country’s economy is indicating high economic growth rates, and for further achievements in social-economic development the country needs to maintain high economic growth rates. Achievements of the country in poverty reduction, illiteracy eradication, female employment, health, and population growth are notable, and despite periodic political upheavals and setbacks, it continues to move forward in these areas. Bangladesh has transitioned from an economy dependent on agriculture to one where its manufacturing and services sectors account for the major part of GDP. Experience of the country can be useful for many developing countries, and it can also be useful for improving the socio-economic development of Ukraine. There’s still a certain lack of fundamental scientific research on the economy and economic development of Bangladesh in Ukrainian scientific publications. The aim of the article is to provide more scientific research in this field.
