Анотація
The period of study at a university for young people often coincides with the age crisis of transition from youth to maturity, during which emotional, intellectual, conative (behavioural) processes reach their peak of development with the simultaneous maximum disclosure of the spiritual and moral foundations of the personality. This age period is manifested by the active construction of semantic and goal-setting constructs, which often determine the further course of life. During this period, there is a transition from formed psychological security, developing on the experience of collective overcoming of difficulties, to the disclosure of psychological culture, determining an autonomous way of developing a life position and individual acceptance of life in general. Together, these two qualities make up a single whole - the psychosocial stability of the individual which allows a person not only to accumulate a large comprehensive experience of interaction with the environment and build his own life position, but also to develop abilities that allow him to pass on professional and life experience to other people and generations. In the context of the modernization of the higher education system of Ukraine, in connection with the dynamic changes taking place in our country, competitive specialists are being trained, whose important professional characteristics are a positive attitude to activity, emotional stability, predictability of personality development. Modern students, experiencing high intellectual and emotional stress during their studies at a university, today often have a negative dynamics of attitude to educational activities. One of the reasons for this situation is a decrease in their stress resistance. The study of the processes of regulation of activity, mental states, psychological resistance to stress, in particular among students of such future professions as "person-person", for students of technical education, is today more than ever a relevant area of scientific and practical research in psychology, which must certainly lead to the creation of effective preventive methods of counteracting stressors - at least in professional activities.
