Документ Відкритий доступ The effect of swimming on psychological state during recovery from prolonged stress(Вид-во УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2025-04) Cherevichko, Oleksandr; Smirnov, KostiantynSwimming is one of the healthiest sports. Most people know that swimming improves cardiovascular and muscular health, but few know about its psychological benefits. Research shows that swimming has a positive effect on a person’s mental state. For example, regular swimming has been shown to cause changes in the brain, such as decreased stress levels, increased endorphins, and decreased risk of depression. Swimming also has a huge impact on self-confidence, helps solve problems, and increases productivity during the workday. Swimming is a unique type of physical activity that can have a positive effect on a person’s psychological state. Firstly, swimming promotes relaxation. The water that surrounds the body during swimming helps reduce stress and anxiety. In addition, swimming increases the production of endorphins, hormones that are responsible for our good mood and reducing pain. Secondly, swimming improves self-esteem and self-discipline. Training in the pool helps to increase self-confidence and give a sense of achieving goals. Also, regular swimming requires discipline and self-control, which in the long run can be transferred to other areas of life. Thirdly, swimming improves the quality of sleep. As mentioned earlier, swimming promotes relaxation, which in turn helps reduce anxiety and prepare the body for sleep. In addition, swimming also reduces the number of awakenings at night and improves the quality of sleep in general. So, swimming has the following positive effects on the psychological state: relaxation and reduction of stress levels; increased production of endorphins; increased self-confidence and self-discipline; improved sleep quality. Swimming practice can become one of the elements of caring for your physical and mental health. Thus, if a student wants to improve his psychological state, he needs to pay attention to swimming lessons. Include it in your regular physical activity and enjoy all its benefits.Документ Відкритий доступ Innovative forms, means and technologies in physical education of students(Вид-во УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2025-04) Havrylova, Nadiia; Luskan’, O.; Kuzmenko, N.Higher educational institutions of our country are called upon to graduate not only competitive, highly qualified specialists, but also spiritually and physically developed people, healthy and seasoned, capable of fruitful work and defending the Motherland. Strong health and good physical fitness of young people are one of the most important criteria for the development potential of modern society and indicators of the level of the cultural appearance of an individual. Education and comprehensive training of new quality specialists is possible only with the help of modern methods based on the latest achievements of information technology. The most pressing problem in physical education is the low level of physical health and physical fitness of students. According to many studies, students often have a negative attitude towards physical education. This indicates that physical education as a part of the general culture of the individual is not formed in students. Practice shows that not all students of the main group fulfill the standards of the work program, some students belong to a special medical group, about a third of students are generally exempted from practical classes due to health reasons. Low level of physical fitness and lack of systematic knowledge of physical education are associated with the lack of continuity in physical education of students in comprehensive schools and universities. Innovative technologies in the field of students' health help in the formation of the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities for a healthy lifestyle and help to use the acquired knowledge in everyday life. The cognitive activity of students is based on the optimal combination of motor and static loads, the use of special exercises for the prevention and correction of posture, vision training, the use of visualization and a combination of various forms of information. Of particular importance in mastering the basics and a healthy lifestyle of students is the optimization of their physical condition, preparation for life practice, which are considered as a huge contribution to the development of the culture of society and as a means of educating a comprehensively developed personality of students in the context of exclusively material values. Pedagogical technologies allow us to minimize improvised learning and move it to the path of preliminary design of the educational process and subsequent practical implementation.Документ Відкритий доступ Physical potential of students at technical universities. Pedagogical management and organizational and methodological foundations(Вид-во УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2025-04-25) Bilokon, Viktor; Anikeienko, LarysaMethodological activities in the process of teaching students are carried out at seminars and practical classes. It is very necessary to ensure a systematic relationship between knowledge and skills and abilities - physical education and sports (practical) and professional (intellectual). The whole variety of methodological works can be divided by main problems: physical education of children of preschool and school age; physical education in the system of professional higher and secondary education; physical education of adults; physical training in the Armed Forces; training of young athletes, sports reserves, highly qualified athletes; professional higher and secondary physical education. The main types of methodological works: programs, textbooks, teaching aids, methodological recommendations, methodological instructions. In state educational standards, the academic discipline "Physical Education" is presented in the block of elective disciplines. These standards define the mandatory minimum content of theoretical knowledge and practical skills for each discipline. The undeniable importance of physical education should be manifested through the harmonization of spiritual and physical strength, through the formation of such universal values as health, beauty and physical perfection. Physical education as an element of general culture and professional training of students should be aimed at achieving the unity of physical and spiritual development, creating the foundations of physical and mental well-being of an individual, optimizing his or her life. Systematic physical education and sports are one of the forms of conscious human activity, in which physical and spiritual traits of personality are manifested and improved in their unity. Classes in various physical exercises and sports improve the assimilation of educational material by students in their chosen specialty, and after intense mental work are one of the important and most effective means of switching nervous activity, i.e. active rest. Physical education classes at the university are an integral part of students' education and are considered a mandatory and organic part of the training of future specialists.Документ Відкритий доступ Energy exchange processes in the growing organism of first- and second-year students(Український державний університет імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2024-12-25) Khimich, Igor; Parakhonko, VadymStudying at a university is a complex and lengthy process that requires a lot of effort from all body systems. The first year is a special period: former schoolchildren, accustomed to a certain system, entering a university, face new forms and methods of teaching, new emotional experiences, their work and rest, sleep, and nutrition regimes change. There is a need to adapt to a new team, new teachers. At the same time, the functional abilities of the body of first-year students are reduced, since most of them had to pass important exams and did not have enough summer rest. One of the most important problems of education in a modern university is the adaptation of students to the academic load. A multi-level functional system of adaptation is formed by the interaction and mutual influence of physiological and psychological components of adaptive reactions. The contribution of each of these components is determined by the ratio of two goals of adaptation - maintaining homeostasis and performing activity tasks. It is known that during the period of study at a university, students are exposed to a number of both non-specific (climatic-geographical, environmental) and specific factors (age, physiological and psychological characteristics, emotional overload, sedentary lifestyle): adaptation to a set of new factors is accompanied by significant stress on the compensatory-adaptive systems of the students' body. These issues are most relevant for maintaining the health of students, as the most active creative part of the nation. Students are a reserve of highly qualified specialists for various sectors of the national economy, determining the labor and intellectual potential of the country, reproduction and health of the future generation in the coming years. The process of adaptation to studying at a university is a very complex, multifaceted phenomenon. The period of acute adaptation, according to many researchers, falls on the first and second years of university. Its duration is determined by the individual characteristics of the student, including abilities, mental attitudes, financial security and, of course, health. The degree of expenditure of physiological and mental resources of the human body to perform specific work, balancing with the external environment is described by the parameters of the current functional state. When a student is threatened, the natural reaction to such a change in the usual environment is stress -a state of physical and/or psychological arousal. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of psychological first aid in emergency situations. The tasks of psychological first aid: to ensure safety, basic needs, information and communication, to provide an opportunity to express oneself and calm down, to show techniques for overcoming stress. The sympathy and support that a student who has fallen into terrible trouble may feel largely depend on how hard and long he will experience this trauma in the future. Psychological First Aid is designed for students who are in a state of stress as a result of a recent or current crisis. However, not everyone who has experienced a crisis needs or wants psychological first aid. There is no need to provide help to those who do not want it, but it is always necessary to be close to those who may need support. There are situations where students need much more serious assistance than psychological first aid, including: students with serious, life-threatening injuries who require emergency medical care; students with a psychological disorder that prevents them from taking care of themselves. They may harm themselves or others; students with mental health problems; students with disabilities may need special assistance to get to a safe place and medical care.Psychological first aid should be provided upon first contact with students who are in a state of stress. This usually occurs during or immediately after the event, but sometimes several days or weeks later, depending on how long the event lasted and how traumatic it was for the studentsДокумент Відкритий доступ Motivation of ukrainian students of technical universities to engage in physical education and sports(Dragomanov Ukrainian State University, 2025-05-15) Yefremenko, Viktoriia; Syrovatko, ZoiaThe main task of sports is to preserve and strengthen the health of a person and the nation as a whole. Health is the process of preserving and developing a person's mental, physical, biological abilities, his optimal working capacity, social activity with maximum life expectancy. Systematic sports activities have a comprehensive effect on the whole body: they strengthen the strength of all muscle groups, develop joint mobility, help increase the elasticity of the ligaments and tendon system, train the general and strength endurance of the body, strengthen the cardio-respiratory system, activate the body's immune forces, improve coordination of movements, allow you to reduce excess weight, improve mood, give a charge of vigor.Документ Відкритий доступ Features of personal and professional development in the conditions of educational innovations(Dragomanov Ukrainian State University, 2025-04-15) Yefremenko, Viktoriia; Syrovatko, ZoiaOur century gives psychology a variety of concepts that describe the integrity and uniqueness of a person at the highest levels of their manifestation. That is, a person is not something given in advance, but an "open opportunity" for unique self-actualization inherent only to a person. To study personal and professional development, we turn to the idea of science as an open self-organizing system that allows us to consider the phenomena under study in the dynamics of their development. We adhere to the views that believe that the psyche (consciousness) is the most complex of the known mechanisms of selectivity, transforming the "world in itself" into the "world for us" - a multidimensional world of a person in which one can act, understanding the meaning and value of one's actions, and therefore, being responsible for what one has done. Our initial assumption is that the completeness of the study of the phenomenon of personal and professional development in the context of higher professional education can be achieved if we consider it as a form of manifestation of human self-organization as an integral psychological system.Документ Відкритий доступ Positive effect of swimming on the musculocal system. Health and Therapeutic swimming as a method of prevention for postural disorders and scoliosis(УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2024-09-24) Dakal, Nataliia; Kachalov, OleksandrOver the last decades of the twentieth century, during the period of the scientific and technological revolution, the conditions and the labor process itself have changed dramatically. Automation of production, development of transport, improvement of living conditions have led to a decrease in physical activity of most people. In the human body, the neuro-reflex connections established by nature and strengthened in the process of hard work began to be disrupted. An urgent problem is the fight against physical inactivity, which arises due to limited mobility in many activities.Detraining of the motor system and functional systems of the human body, which provide muscular work with energy and plastic resources, creates the preconditions under which unexpected psycho-emotional effects on a person and even not very heavy physical activity cause a strong stress reaction.Social and medical measures do not give the expected effect in preserving people's health. Therefore, in modern society there is a need to develop one’s physical abilities through physical exercise. Physical training increases physical activity, stimulates intellectual processes, promotes health and longevity and is an integral part of a harmonious and fulfilling life.Swimming is a unique type of physical exercise and is one of the most popular sports, both in our country and abroad. It is one of the most effective means of strengthening human health and physical development, from the first months of life to old age.Документ Відкритий доступ Тhe formation of professionally important mobile qualities in the professional and applied training of students National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"(УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2024) Anikeienko, Larysa; Bilokon, ViktorVocational applied physical training is a specialized pedagogical process of targeted training thatpromotes the development and improvement of motor functions and skills in accordance with professional requirements and the nature of the educational process. The importance of professional-applied physical training in promoting health is to increase the nonspecific resistance of the body, expand the adaptive potential, increase the functional capabilities of the body and prevent diseases. The block (development of functions) determines the improvement of muscle-joint sensitivity and coordination of movements, the increase in muscle strength and endurance, the development of tactile sensitivity and dexterity, improving the reaction to a moving object and sensorimotor reactions. The essence of the block (increasing the efficiency of professional activity) lies in the fact that physical labor sports are based on a general motor stereotype that helps improve the functions and systems necessary to acquire professional qualifications. Special exercises determine the level of professional suitability, the strengthof mastery of professional skills, the development of professional abilities, the improvement of professionally significant functions, and the increase in the level of professional performance. The leading principles of professional-applied physical training are: professional-applied orientation of physical education classes; the use of professionally applied physical training against the background of highphysical activity; stages in the formation of professionally significant functions; coincidence of the functional orientation of sports and the requirements of professional activity; adequacy of forms and methods of physical education to the nature of work in professional activities; the complexity of the use of physical education means; improvement of individual psychophysiological properties that ensure the success of training for a specific professional activity; transfer of trainability of motor qualities from sports to professional activities.Документ Відкритий доступ Physical education in higher educational institutions in the direction of psychological and pedagogical foundations(УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2025) Zubko, Valentyna; Garnusova, Viktoriia; Shyp, LiliiaIn the development of an active positive attitude towards physical culture and sports, the formation of the corresponding motives in young people is of primary importance. This process includes two mechanisms - "bottom up" and "top down". In the first, spontaneously formed or specially organized conditions of physical culture and sports activities satisfy certain needs selectively. If this happens systematically, the corresponding motives arise and are strengthened. The second mechanism, "top down", operates when a person assimilates the motives presented to him in a ready-made form; according to the plan of the teacher and coach, they should be trained in him. The student must gradually transform these motives from understood into effective ones. Explaining the essence of motives, their relationship with each other and with needs makes it easier for the student to work on their internal meaning, eliminates the spontaneous search for mistakes, the wrong choice of sport or form of physical education. Thus, the first mechanism is stimulated by changing the external conditions of physical education and sports activities (methodology, selection of physical exercises, etc.), the second - by changing the intrapersonal atmosphere through understanding needs and turning them into motives. Full formation of motives is possible with the synchronous action of both mechanisms. In reality, this is what happens, although in some periods one may prevail. During the introduction of young people to physical education and sports, the firstmechanism is most productive - "from the bottom up", the second is better to connect a little later, already in the period of direct classes. Both mechanisms have advantages and disadvantages. The main disadvantage of the first mechanism is that even a specially organized training process by a teacher may not bring the expected success in the formation of motives. It will have to be supplemented by the second, explaining to the pupils the meaning and necessity of forming the necessary skills. The purpose of this work is to consider these mechanisms, to investigate the dynamics of their development and influence on the specific choice of students and their subsequent actions.Документ Відкритий доступ Physical activity as a way of influencing cognitive functions and brain activity of students during their studies at the university(УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2025) Zubko, Valentyna; Kachalov, OleksandrThe relationship between physical activity and academic performance has been studied extensively, and research supports the idea that regular physical activity can have a positive impact on academic life. This can include improving students’ cognitive function, attention, memory, and academic performance. Physically active students perform better on cognitive tests and have higher academic achievement scores compared to their sedentary peers. Additionally, physical activity has been shown to reduce stress and improve mood, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression in adolescents, which can also have a positive impact on academic performance. Sports and physical activity have a significant impact on students’ academic life. Research has shown that students who regularly engage in physical activity tend to perform better academically and have higher grades than those who do not. This is because exercise helps improve memory, concentration, and attention, as well as reduce stress and anxiety levels. Physical activity also helps improve sleep, which is essential for overall health and academic success. When students get enough sleep, they are more alert, energetic, and able to focus on their studies. Additionally, physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, which in turn increases oxygen and nutrients, leading to improved cognitive function. In addition to the cognitive benefits, playing sports also helps students develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication. These skills are essential for success not only in the academic field, but also in their future careers and personal lives. In addition, playing sports can also help build self-esteem, confidence, and resilience. When students achieve their goals through sports, they learn to believe in themselves and their abilities. This self-confidence will help students cope with the challenges of academic life, leading to increased academic performance and success. The benefits of playing sports are numerous, from improving memory and concentration to developing self-esteem and life skills. Therefore, it is important for students to make time for physical activity and choose the right sports that suit their interests and abilities. Swimming in universities in the system of physical education. The influence of recreational swimming on the organism of students of higher education(УДУ імені Михайла Драгоманова, 2024) Zubko, Valentyna; Cherevichko, Oleksandr; Smirnov, KostiantynWhen moving in water, almost all the muscles of the body work. Swimming promotes the development of endurance and coordination of movements. This is a successful means of strengthening the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. The practical value of swimming is also great. Every person should be able to swim long distances and provide assistance to someone in distress on the water. It is no coincidence that even in ancient times, swimming was one of the main signs of culture. Swimming is a sport that involves swimming over different distances in the least amount of time. Swimming is considered one of the disciplines of physical education at a university and is included in the educational program of many universities; it is a mandatory section in mass sports work and sports and recreational activities for students. Moreover, swimming as a sport is most appropriate for any age. During the classes, students will easily master the technique of sports swimming methods and will be able to take part in various competitions. To a greater extent, this will be explained by age-related anatomical and physiological characteristics, which can be best expressed in special conditions of the aquatic environment. And for this reason, it allows students to quickly master the technique of sports swimming methods. The physiological and psychological characteristics of the body of boys and girls also significantly favor the successful use of swimming in physical education classes at a university. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of swimming as one of the popular and widespread types of sports for students. Swimming lessons are available and useful for students. For this reason, regular visits to the pool and certain systematic water procedures will instill lasting hygienic skills, gradually becoming a need and a habit. Swimming is considered an amazing form of physical exercise - it will have a healing and strengthening effect on all systems of the individual’s body. It will serve as a good means of relaxation and hardening. When swimming, the mechanism of thermoregulation will be improved, immunological properties will increase, and adaptation to various environmental conditions will increase.
